Mathematical research has come very nearly to establishing a new mathematical method (so called 21 Century Math Method) which is to replace the 20 Century axiomatic method. It is a principal advance in mathematics.
There are no reason to be sure that all ciphers will be not deciphered soon! (My research is not directly related with cryptography, but instead it is in the foundations of mathematics, which all fields of mathematics including cryptography use, and also my research is directly related with algorithms theory which is the base of cryptography. A breakthrough in one field of math may cause breakthrough also in other fields of knowledge.)
Be sure to keep your sensitive data protected not only by ciphers and digital signatures but also either by complete disconnecting from the Net or by standalone keys (passwords and other codes) which are not used in any ciphers because otherwise ciphers may be deciphered and keys broken. That is to protect your security codes from this kind of threat you must never use them together with ciphers (nor use them as cipher keys nor to transmit them through open channels even in ciphered form). Any data transmitted through open channels (even in ciphered form) may probably be treated.
This especially concerns with nuclear objects, other dangerous technologies, transport systems etc., as well as with banks and other financial systems. These systems may probably be threaten by terrorists or hackers if these would gain deciphering technology. These objects must take care to ensure that breaking any ciphers will not threat their security. It must be done as soon as possible.
For an average Internet user it means that SSL / HTTPS and PGP as well as all Virtual Private Networks (VPN) may one day become insecure, today the science provides us no warranty that these ciphers (as any other ciphers) will be not broken.
Sensitive personal data may become open some day... What consequences it may cause...
It was a hard decision to start to publish my mathematical research (both by the above mentioned reason related with ciphers and because it may increasing technological levels increase economical inequality as well as destructive power of weapons), but after long thinking I decided to publish it. I indeed deem that this was a right decision. Now when some of it is already presented, we have no way back concerning cryptography and can only continue to move forward studying mathematics including cryptography.
You may wonder whether deciphering technology exists? No one claimed that he has deciphering technology. So most probably today the mankind does not have deciphering technology (It is even unknown whether universal deciphering technology exists at all.) However it is not improbably that governments of some countries (notably of US, UK, or Russia) may already have such a technology but keep it in secret. It is also not impossible that some individual mathematicians know such a technology but keep it in secret. (Note that I myself do not know deciphering technology.)
